About Thuy
I have over 20 years of experience managing innovative projects and teaching technology to a non-technical audience.
I co-founded my first company in 2000. I learned how to get things done at work while keeping my personal activities such as being the lead singer of a music band, playing improv theatre or practicing photography with a local photo club.
I grew up in Brittany, on the West Coast of France and 2 hours by train from Paris. It’s the land of tasty crepes and other delicious Brittany specialties such as the kouign-amann and far breton (both are cakes from Brittany). I love talking about French cuisine as much as enjoy discussing technology. Baking madeleines is not only a good way to relax but also my excuse to have my kitchen smelling like a bakery.
I’m a discrete person and I hate being in front of a camera.
I know how it feels to prefer hiding in a cave rather than being visible online.
After moving to San Francisco, I learned the importance of showing up for projects you care about and to find your unique voice as an entrepreneur. I also enjoy the city and its micro climate during the Summer — where else can you go from the sad fog to a tasty ice cream in the sun within a few minutes?
